An 18-year-old student was arrested Wednesday on rape and child molestation charges, police said.
Evan Galicia Smith of Roswell is accused of raping a juvenile classmate at Mill Springs Academy, according to a Milton police report.
According to the police report, a girl reported the alleged rape Monday.
Milton police told Channel 2 Action News they believe this assault was not a random act and Smith knew his victim.
Smith is being held in Fulton County’s jail without bond.
