In Sports Illustrated's way too early 2018 NFL Mock Draft, the Atlanta Falcons are projected to select wide receiver James Washington from Oklahoma State with the 28th overall selection.

Writer Chris Burke wrote the order of the mock draft comes from Vegas Insider's Super Bowl odds.

"(Oklahoma State quarterback) Mason Rudolph’s favorite target (1,380 yards and 10 touchdowns last season) plans to play through a hernia injury in ‘17, so we’ll see how much that impacts his production," Burke wrote. "Defenses sure have not had much luck slowing him down. The Falcons are not necessarily lined up to need a receiver ahead of next year, but a player of Washington’s caliber could be too much to turn down."

The rest of Sports Illustrated's first-round mock selections can be read on Sports Illustrated's website.
