A pond at a popular Bartow County park is now filled with thousands of dead fish, leaving park visitors to wonder what happened.
“We've never seen this before,” Dellinger Park visitor Nicole Knott told Channel 2 Action News. “Ever. The whole eight years we've lived here, it's never looked like this.”
Greg Anderson, the park's director, told the television station that ducks, geese and even the fish themselves are to blame for the deaths.
He said too much fecal matter in the water is killing the fish, too.
