Dinner in the City will be an inaugural benefit featuring a three-course dinner prepared by alumni of 180° Kitchen, the culinary educational facility of City of Refuge, plus a chef's competition judged by industry experts Ford Fry of Rocket Farm Restaurants, Steve Palmer of the Indigo Road Restaurant Group and Steve Simon of Fifth Group.

Two teams will prepare the evening’s meal. Guests will enjoy a half-portion size appetizer, entrée and dessert; post dinner, guests will cast their votes to determine the winning team.

In addition to the culinary excitement, City of Refuge will be selling a limited number of raffle tickets for a 2015 model Porsche Boxster or Cayman, inclusive of an $8,000 customization package.

The event will be held at 180° Kitchen (1300 Joseph E. Boone Boulevard, Atlanta) at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Tickets are available for $35 per person and may be purchased via http://dinner.cityofrefuge.events/.

Proceeds from raffle and Dinner in the City ticket sales will benefit 180° Kitchen along with City of Refuge’s additional transformational programs.
