The family of Zell Miller, who will turn 84 next week, sends word that the former governor took a fall while at a Young Harris College basketball game on Wednesday, fracturing his right hip and right shoulder. The following just arrived from one of his grandsons, Bryan Miller:

The family appreciates the outpouring of support they have received. Governor Miller is in good spirits and resting comfortably. The family asks that you keep Gov. and Mrs. Miller in your thoughts and prayers. Governor Miller will turn 84 on February 24, 2016.

Here's betting he's running the hospital by Saturday.
