Julie Delliquanti, who last year curated the art|DBF component of the AJC Decatur Book Festival, has been named executive director of the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. Currently head of public programs and community engagement at the High, Delliquanti starts her new position in July, managing daily operations and implementing the institute's capitalization plan.

Founded in 1973 as Nexus Contemporary Art Center, ACAC has a long history of exhibiting and promoting contemporary arts in Atlanta. Last fall it debuted a $600,000 renovation of its 30,000 square feet on Means Street in West Midtown.
