Delta names oil and gas exec to board

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines announced oil and gas industry veteran William H. Easter III is joining its board of directors.
Easter spent 32 years at Conoco and ConocoPhillips and was chairman, president and CEO of DCP Midstream from 2004 until 2008, according to the airline.
The move comes after Delta earlier this year took the unusual move of buying an oil refinery through a subsidiary it created called Monroe Energy LLC.
