‘Tis the season for drinks that warm you up, that are spiced with seasonal flavors like cinnamon and cranberry — for drinks that are, essentially, comfort in a glass.
Even if it’s not a hot drink (such as a Tom and Jerry, a warmed-up twist on eggnog), a cocktail that includes ingredients we readily associate with this time of year will easily hit the spot, like this martini with gin, cinnamon syrup and cranberry.
“The Yuletide Martini takes inspiration from some of the brighter flavors of the holidays, incorporating cranberry, orange and spices… E.B. White called the martini the ‘elixir of quietude,’ and this martini is meant to be just that: a quiet moment to be found in the hectic rush of the holiday season,” Tacy Rowland, the bartender who created this cocktail, said.

2 oz. Bombay Sapphire
2 tsp. Cranberry Sauce
1/4 oz. dry curaçao
1/4 oz. cinnamon syrup
