Make your final reservations now. "Southern chophouse," Abattoir , which opened in 2009 in the Westside Provisions District, will shut its doors after dinner service on March 28.

“We have loved our seven year run with our great team at Abattoir. We have been proud to present great food, a fabulous atmosphere and the talents of several notable chefs,” owner/operator Anne Quatrano said in a press release this afternoon. “It’s time we let another concept take over this awesome space as we work on the opening of our Fish Camp at Ponce City Market this Spring.”

In the release, Quatrano  and her husband and co-owner, Clifford Harrison, thanked their staff and guests, and revealed that many staff have already been slated for future roles in the upcoming W. H. Stiles Fish Camp, opening in Ponce City Market this spring, and the opening of “a little restaurant downstairs at Bacchanalia” soon.
