Yes, the Budweiser Clydesdales will participate in Lawrenceville's Christmas parade Friday night — but you can meet them today.

The city of Lawrenceville took to Facebook on Monday afternoon to announce the iconic equines' arrival at an undisclosed location, providing visual proof that their on-again, off-again relationship was a thing of the past.  And while the horses will indeed cap off the county seat's first-ever holiday parade on Friday night, they'll be making another appearance too.

From 3 to 6 p.m. today, they'll be down the road at Beverage SuperStore of Grayson.

The package store is at 2265 Loganville Highway in Grayson. The festivities are free (though the wine tasting mentioned in the above Facebook post is $20) and kids are welcome.

As far as Lawrenceville's much-anticipated parade goes: The city originally announced Oct. 6 that the Clydesdales were coming. About three weeks later, they delivered the bad news that a scheduling conflict had forced the horses to back out. But on Nov. 17, the city and Anheuser-Busch announced that the horses' appearance was back on.

The parade will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at 240 Oak St. before heading south on Perry Street, east on Nash Street, north on Clayton Street and west on Pike Street. Find a map of the parade route here.

In addition to the Clydesdales, the festivities will feature Santa Claus, more than 40 community floats and "Christmas activities" on the square.

Below are several photos of the Clydesdales' arrival in Gwinnett, via the city of Lawrenceville's Facebook page.
