Work on the express lanes is sure to give you a headache this weekend with multiple lane closures.
But as the work continues, drivers may have less to worry about on other parts of the highway.
Here are your trouble spots:
Northwest Corridor Express Lanes
I-75
One northbound lane will close between Chastain Road to just after Wade Green Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One northbound lane will close between Delk Road and South Marietta Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One southbound lane will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between the I-575 interchange and Barrett Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
I-575
One northbound and one southbound lane will close between Ridgewalk Parkway and Sixes Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between Bells Ferry and Alabama roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One lane and shoulder will close on the northbound on-ramp from Chastain Road from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
One lane will close on the southbound on-ramp from Bells Ferry Road from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
On Hawkins Store Road, crews will direct traffic under I-575 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
South Metro Express Lanes
I-75
One southbound lane will close between Mt. Zion Boulevard and the I-675 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
I-285
Two eastbound lanes will close just before and after Riverside Drive from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
The I-285 southbound on-ramp from Hollowell Parkway will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists traveling Hollowell Parkway to I-285 southbound can turn onto Fulton Industrial Boulevard, continue on Fulton Industrial Boulevard to I-20 eastbound, and from there continue on I-20 eastbound to I-285 southbound.
Two southbound lanes will close on the ramp to I-20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for guardrail repairs.
The I-285 westbound ramp to I-75 southbound in Clayton County will narrow to allow crews to repair the guardrail from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
I-20
Two westbound lanes and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Six Flags Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Up to three eastbound lanes will close between Six Flags Parkway and the I-285 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
The I-20 eastbound ramp to I-285 northbound will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday. The I-20 eastbound ramp to I-285 southbound will also close from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
Drivers on I-20 eastbound to I-285 can exit at Fulton Industrial Boulevard, make a left on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, make a right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and continue on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to I-285 northbound or southbound.
Downtown Connector
One lane will close on the I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Spring and West Peachtree streets (exit No. 249D) from 9 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
One lane will close on the I-75/I-85 northbound entrance ramp from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-75
Two southbound lanes will close between Forest Parkway and Tara Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday.
Two southbound lanes will close between Tara Boulevard and Jonesboro Road from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-85
Two northbound lanes will close between Riverdale Road and Virginia Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. Lanes will close again 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday. Final lane closures will take place 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Ga. 400
One northbound lane will close between Peachtree Parkway and MacFarland Parkway continuously from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Monday.
The southbound on-ramp to the MARTA North Springs Station will partially close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Other State Routes
On Buford Drive, one lane will close at I-85 from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
On Piedmont Avenue, one lane will close between Ponce de Leon Avenue and North Avenue from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
On Main Street in Alpharetta, one lane will close between Academy Street and the Forsyth County line from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
On Lavista Road, one southbound lane will close between I-285 and Briarcliff Road from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
On Riverside Drive, the bridge will close over I-285 from Cold Stream Court to Fair Oaks Manor nonstop from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
