Restaurant.com, the largest dining deals site, will be serving of a "Plate of Thanks," a philanthropic campaign that helps restaurants grow and improve their business. As a gesture of gratitude to independent restaurants, Restaurant.com conducted a nationwide search then selected 20 restaurants to assist. Local patrons nominated Kimi's Bistro in Atlanta's Little Five Points. Kimi's was chosen. The restaurant was in dire need new linens and menus, and thanks to the campaign, it will be gifted with both by the Restaurant.com team at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18.
This campaign also celebrates Restaurant.com’s milestone: They now have more than 20,000 participating partner restaurants in their national network.
Additional information from Restaurant.com’s press release:
In addition to restaurants, the campaign is celebrating diners. The Plates of Thanks Sweepstakes will award 20 winners with a big night out at participating restaurants. The sweepstakes closes on June 21. The campaign supports small businesses, too. Twenty small businesses will be selected to receive free bundles of $25 Restaurant.com cards. The cards work to attract, reward and thank customers with Restaurant.com savings. For more details on the campaign and to enter the Plates of Thanks Sweepstakes, please visit www.restaurant.com/20k.
