A celebrity chef in Buckhead tonight. Taste 20 wines for $20 tonight. Cocktail dinner party. There are several fun food events happening in metro Atlanta this week, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Tuesday, Jan. 24: Watershed on Peachtree 's first 20 wine tastings for $20 wine tasting of the new year will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. Sip on wines paired with delicious light bites from chef Zeb Stevenson. The tasting will be $20 person and to save a spot, email rsvp@watershedrestaurant.com.

Tuesday, Jan. 24: New Jersey-born, Rome-based food and beverage educator and journalist Katie Parla will host a dinner featuring dishes from her new cookbook, Tasting Rome : Fresh Flavors & Forgotten Recipes from an Ancient City from 6:30-10 p.m. at Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante . The four-course family-style menu will include boneless roasted pork, cheese and pepper pasta and tart for dessert. A seat at the table will be $60 and includes a signed copy of Parla's book. Tickets may be purchased here or by calling the restaurant.

Thursday, Jan. 26: Southern Art 's assistant executive chef Tonya Morris will host an intimate cooking presentation of resolution-friendly tools inspired by Art Smith's latest cookbook, Healthy Comfort. The presentation will include a three-course sampling of green and purple cabbage salad with gorgonzola and toasted walnuts; cornmeal-crusted catfish with green tomato-Vidalia relish and chipotle crème fraiche; and coconut-oat macaroons. The culinary class is $40; call to make a reservation.

Thursday, Jan. 26: For a five-course cocktail dinner featuring spirits from Old Fourth Ward Distillery and American Spirit Works, head to Double Zero . Dinner, which will begin with an amuse-bouche at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m., will include special cocktails paired with each course. Tickets are $59 each. Call to make reservations.
