A bar and restaurant from the team behind Bite Bistro & Bar in Alpharetta has closed its doors after less than three years in business.
Bellwoods Social House, which was located at 1000 Marietta St. in West Midtown, announced the closure on its Instagram account:
Bellwoods opened in late 2014 and featured American bar food and small plates from Leif Johnson , who also serves as the chef/owner of Bite, and craft cocktails from beverage director Arianne Fielder.
A 2014 AJC review gave the restaurant one out of four stars, stating "I’m afraid the current jack-of-all-trades, master-of-few approach won’t hold up against stiff and convenient competition."
