Isaiah Wynn, Justin Jones named top linemen by Senior Bowl

MOBILE, ALA. -- Former Georgia left tackle Isaiah Wynn and former N.C. State defensive linemen Justin Jones were selected as the top offensive and defensive linemen at the Senior Bowl for having the best week of practice by executive director Phil Savage.

The NFL teams wanted to Wynn play guard. He performed well and was heavily scouted by the Atlanta Falcons.

“He took to (playing guard)  like a duck to water,” Savage said in the awards video. “He was terrific. …Isaiah Wynn is going to be a long-time starter in the NFL at guard.”

Justin Jones, who played at South Cobb High, also impressed Savage, a former NFL GM .

"He was the one who emerged here," Savage said.

Also, wide receiver Michael Gallup, who's from Colorado State and Monroe , also was mentioned with the top wide receivers.
