All Mariah Carey wants for Christmas is to give you free McDonald’s

Superstar Mariah Carey is taking holiday giving up an octave this year. For 12 days, the music icon is teaming up with McDonald’s to treat you to free food from the restaurant.

“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” Carey said. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”

The Mariah Menu kicks off Monday, Dec. 13, with the Big Mac. All you have to do to get a free sandwich is download the McDonald’s app and make an order of at least $1.

The free item changes each day:

“Mariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season,” said Jennifer Healan, vice president, U.S. Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement of McDonald’s USA. “Just like McDonald’s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariah’s music connects us all during this time of the year. We’re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.”

According to the press release: “Mariah Menu items will be served in fun and festive packaging inspired by Mariah’s love for the holidays and chic style. We have worked with Mariah to create a design we know the Lambily and McDonald’s fans will love.”

If you’re one of the first 10,000 people who take advantage of the offer Dec. 15 and Dec. 21, you’ll also be able to buy a special Mariah x McDonald’s merchandise item for that day. The beanie (Dec. 15) features Carey’s signature, and the T-shirt (Dec. 21) includes a throwback photo of Carey enjoying her go-to McDonald’s order — a cheeseburger with extra pickles.
