The annual Georgia Fans’ Picture Day will be held August 16 at Sanford Stadium and will feature coach Mark Richt, football players, cheerleaders, other UGA athletic teams along with mascot, Uga IX.
Autograph signings and pictures will be conducted in the Reed Plaza behind the north grandstands at the stadium. Tickets are required for access to the location for Uga IX and Richt and will be distributed to the first 150 fans at he East End ticket windows on East Campus Road at 10 a.m. that Saturday morning.
Gates will open at 2 p.m. and the Georgia cheerleaders, Dance Dawgs and Hairy Dawg will be available from 2-6 p.m. Uga IX and other sports teams will be available from 2-4 p.m. Ticket holders to see Uga IX must be in line by 2:30 p.m. Georgia football players will be on hand for autographs from 4-6 p.m. and ticket holders to see Richt must be in line by 4:30 p.m.
Other UGA teams scheduled to attend include baseball, men’s basketball, equestrian, women’s golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, track & field, cross country and volleyball.
Fans will be able to enter Reed Plaza through Gate 2 in the northwest corner of the stadium across from the Tate Student Center and Gate 4 through the East Campus Road entry into Reed Plaza. Both gates open at 2 p.m.
