After suffering an open dislocation of his left index finger in his team’s exhibition game Saturday, Georgia Tech guard Josh Okogie tweeted a hopeful message and a photo, taken in his hospital room.

Okogie thanked fans for their thoughts and prayers and vowed “We will be back and better!”

Okogie suffered the injury to the index finger of his left (non-shooting) hand in the Jackets' 65-58 loss to Georgia State at McCamish Pavilion. Coach Josh Pastner said Okogie could be out for "a while" after the game.
