Piedmont Road reopened in Buckhead after morning accident
Crews were still working an area of Piedmont Road in Buckhead on Wednesday afternoon after a car hit a power pole.

ORIGINAL STORY:All lanes of Piedmont Road remain blocked between E. Paces Ferry and Peachtree roads in Buckhead as of 2:30 p.m. Wednesday due to an accident hours earlier.
During the morning rush hour, a car hit a power pole in the area, and it fell across Piedmont Road, Channel 2 Action News reported. As of 2:30 p.m., crews were still working in the area.
