Gwinnett County detectives hope pictures released Tuesday from inside a bank will help identify the alleged robber who rode away on bicycle.

Police were called to the Associated Credit Union at 4895 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard shortly after 8 a.m. Monday after the man demanded money from a teller, who was able to press a silent alarm, according to a police report obtained by the AJC.

A teller told police a man wearing a gray-hooded jacket and a skull cap with a scarred face approached her and asked for money, but she couldn’t understand him and asked him to repeat his request, the report states.

“Give me all the money in your drawer,” the man allegedly said.

The man never mentioned a weapon and stopped the teller as she got to the $10 bills, according to police. The man, described as about 5-feet-6 and weighing 150 pounds, appeared to be homeless, witnesses told police. He left the bank and rode away on a red bicycle, along with $7,430 in cash.

Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to contact Gwinnett police.
