Man shot in foot inside southwest Atlanta mall after ‘altercation’
Police are investigating the shooting.

Dec 13, 2018A man was shot in the foot inside The Mall West End in southwest Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The 18-year-old victim, who suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening, told officers he got into an “altercation” with several other people inside the mall about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Atlanta police Officer Lisa Bender told AJC.com.
That’s when shots rang out, and the people left the scene in a black vehicle, possibly a Nissan Altima, Bender said. They were last spotted heading toward Lee Street.
The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
