Shiloh High School football coach Brian Montgomery has been reassigned pending an investigation into alleged recruitment violations.
Sloan Roach, spokeswoman for Gwinnett County Public Schools, said late Monday that the reassignment came after the Georgia High School Association contacted the school in reference to its investigation into alleged recruitment violations.
The school system followed up with an investigation of its own, Roach said.
"As a district, we believe in the strict adherence to all rules and regulations in regard to the eligibility of our students and hold our staff to the same expectations," she said.
While the system investigates, Montgomery is working at the school system's headquarters in Suwanee.
This is the coach's first year at Shiloh.
