The Sandy Springs City Council has approved submitting a list of three streets to the state for a $131,796 grant to resurface them.
Funds from the FY 2017 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation would go toward improvements to Coldstream Court east of Riverside Drive; Dunvegan Close north of Spalding; and Trail Point east of Huntcliff Trace.
The streets, totaling about six-tenths of a mile in length, were identified as in need of work by the Public Works Department. The LMIG grant will require a 30 percent local match of $39,538.
