Sadd to head trial lawyers group

Atlanta lawyer James "Jay" Sadd is the new president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

Sadd succeeds outgoing president Geoffrey Pope and will serve until May 2013. Sadd, of the law firm Slappey and Sadd, was lead counsel for 37 injured victims of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing. Other new officers of the association include Atlanta lawyers Brian "Buck" Rogers, who is president-elect, and Linley Jones, the executive vice president.
