What about the weekend? Nitz said there's a 40 percent chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s.
Rainy June: Atlanta's official rain gauge at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport recorded rain on eight of the first 10 days of June. The .47 inch of rain that fell Wednesday brought the total for the month to 1.73 inches, a surplus of .47.
