Deerfield Police Department in Massachusetts posted on its verified Facebook page Wednesday that officers found the man near a locked-out truck at a Circle K gas station.

The trucker was combative with a sergeant and showed signs of drug use, police said. The truck driver admitted to using crystal methamphetamine, LSD and cocaine.

Police said it appeared that the driver used drugs during his journey and did not rest.

He left Seattle for a destination on the East Coast. From the Emerald City to Deerfield, it's around a 45-hour drive.

The driver was taken to the hospital, and he will be face charges, police said. His semi-truck was impounded.
