Cobb County residents are invited for the first public meeting on the Mabry Park master plan on March 17.
County staff and Friends of Mabry Park volunteers will discuss plans for the park at the corner of Sandy Plains and Wesley Chapel Roads.
The east Cobb park land was purchased with money from the $40 million parks bond approved by voters in 2006, and the Friends of Mabry Park group is raising money to develop the park.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Garrison Mill Elementary School, 4111 Wesley Chapel Road in Marietta.
