Police need your help finding a man they say could help them solve two recent home invasions in Atlanta where women were attacked.

Channel 2's Matt Johnson obtained video of the man they say dragged an elderly woman at knifepoint inside her home as she tried to run for help.

It happened on Friar Tuck Road in Northeast Atlanta on Dec. 29 at around 4:30 p.m.

The man abandoned the victim's silver Cadillac the same day a mile away.

Johnson spoke to the victim's neighbors in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood where the incident happened.

"It's terrible that someone would profile an older woman," a neighbor told Johnson. "She's a quiet person but very a nice person."

This home invasion happened seven days before another reported incident in which someone tied up a Buckhead woman and robbed her of cash and jewelry about three miles away.

The robbery commander at the Atlanta Police Department told Johnson there are some similarities between the two cases.

He hopes someone can identify this suspect's clothes or mannerisms as investigators chase leads.

"Without a doubt we'll make an arrest," said Lt. Azie Home with the Atlanta Police Department.

Meanwhile, neighbors said they have to stay vigilant in case someone is looking for another target.

There is a third case that could also be connected where a 72-year-old grandmother was followed home from Ansley Mall and robbed at her doorstep.

Investigators said they are considering all possibilities.
