The Concord Road covered bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for inspection by the Cobb County Department of Transportation.
Built in 1848, the bridge was built over Nickajack Creek and burned on July 4, 1864 during the Civil War, rebuilt in 1872, upgraded in the 1950s and renovated in 1999.
