Atlanta Public Schools hires Teacher of the Year

Jadun McCarthy, Georgia's 2012 Teacher of the Year, has been hired by Atlanta Public Schools. McCarthy, previously an English/Language Arts teacher in Bibb County, was named "coordinator for teacher quality for high schools" by the Atlanta district. McCarthy is a product of Bibb County Schools and earned a law degree from The University of Georgia.
