Atlanta Department of Watershed Management crews worked Saturday to repair as many as eight water-main breaks, officials said.

The breaks were in north Atlanta neighborhoods such as Ansley Park, Buckhead and Center Hill, officials said.

Locations reported Saturday by city officials included Center Hill Avenue and Commodore Drive in the Center Hill neighborhood, Tanglewood Trail near Chastain Park, Overbrook Drive near Piedmont Hospital, and Beverly Road in Ansley Park.

Officials did not have information about how many customers were affected.

Spokeswoman Mia McDonald said the department was bringing in additional crews and contacting contractors to assist with the repairs.
