State questions YMCA and library construction on DeKalb park land
A YMCA wasn’t allowed to be built on DeKalb County park land four years ago, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
The state agency also raised questions about a new library that's planned to be built at Wade Walker Park.
But Interim DeKalb CEO Lee May says the state's concerns can be resolved without disrupting the YMCA or future construction.
