Georgia 5th in older driver fatalities

Feb 22, 2012

Georgia ranks 5th in the number of drivers at least 65 years of age killed in crashes in 2010, according to an analysis by TRIP, which stands for The Road Information Program.

The organization is advocating for safer roads and transit choices and more transportation funding, such as the transportation referendum to be held here in July 2012.

Georgia ranked behind other states with large populations and heavily used highways, such as California and Texas.
