Changes in DeKalb trash pickup to be discussed with residents

DeKalb County residents can hear about the county’s proposed transition to once-per-week trash pickup during a community meeting next week.

The meeting, hosted by Commissioners Sharon Barnes Sutton and Stan Watson, will cover topics include pickup schedule adjustments, recycling and rate assessments.

The meeting will be held on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Wade Walker Park Family YMCA.
