Three Tucker residents were taken to a hospital Thursday afternoon after a T-bone wreck in Forsyth County, authorities said.

The incident happened at the intersection of Hopewell and Church roads, a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman told AJC.com.

The driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north on Hopewell Road toward the intersection, the sheriff’s office said. At the same time, the driver of a 2007 Toyota Corolla was preparing to turn from Church Road into the southbound lane of Hopewell Road.

The Toyota traveled into the path of the Chevrolet, leading to the crash, the sheriff’s office said. The Chevrolet’s driver was unable to avoid the impact, investigators said.

The three occupants of the Toyota were taken to a hospital but their conditions were not released. The Chevrolet’s driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.

The driver of the Toyota was cited for failing to yield.
