Photographer Ian Christmann took advantage when some unexpected guests arrived at a wedding taking place in a wooded area in New Jersey.
While bride and groom Lauren and Erick Fix were enjoying their wedding dinner, Christmann spotted a herd of deer on the property. The photographer says the couple graciously interrupted their celebration so he could try to snap a few photos with the deer in the background.
Christmann was surprised that the deer allowed them to get so close.
The photographer’s brother posted the “deerbomb” wedding photo on Reddit where it quickly went viral. The image had been viewed more than 3 million times in just one day.
