Clever dog adoption ad follows shoppers at mall

A high-tech advertising campaign by a British animal rescue organization is earning howls of approval, and more importantly, helping get pets adopted.

Barley the dog appeared in a digital billboard ad sponsored by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

According to AdWeek, a chip implanted in handouts given to shoppers allowed Barley to follow shoppers at other digital displays throughout the mall.

The campaign, called Looking for You, has already worked for Barley. He has been adopted.

Battersea has many other dogs and cats waiting for good homes.
