Georgia Tech lost 77-54 to Louisville on Thursday to fall to 11-13 overall and 4-7 in the ACC.
But coach Josh Pastner had much more important things to worry about during the game. His Yellow Jackets hit the court just hours after he was named in a sexual harassment suit by the girlfriend of former friend Ron Bell.
Pastner's attorney released a statement shortly afterwards denying the incidents took place. The lawsuit naturally came up after the game, though, so Pastner himself took the allegations head-on.
As the saying goes, there are two sides to every story. Bell and his girlfriend, Jennifer Pendley, have offered theirs, accusing Pastner of sexual assault. Pastner has gone on record vehemently denying the allegations – first through his attorney, and now on his own.
The truth of the matter will come out sooner or later. But regardless of what the end result is, this has been an ugly story from the beginning.
