The Compassion Experience is a free event featuring an interactive journey through true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic.

In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — without getting on a plane. Each child's story starts in poverty but ends in hope. The experience is designed for all ages. Even though it is impactful for adults, the event is not too intense for small children. The experience was built with the whole family in mind and anyone old enough to wear headphones will benefit from the story.

There are multiple storyline options, which each take approximately 20 minutes. If you’d like to experience the life of more than one child, you’re invited to go through the exhibit as many times as you like. It is recommended to schedule about an hour, as crowds and wait times can fluctuate.

Compassion International is the world's leading authority in holistic child development through sponsorship. It is the only child sponsorship program to be validated through independent, empirical research. For more information about Compassion, visit compassion.com.

The Compassion Experience runs Nov. 18 - 23 at Briarcliff Baptist Churh, located at 3039 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta.
