Summer is a good time take the kids out and have some fun. But where do you go?

Our Best of Atlanta poll asked: What is the best family attraction in metro Atlanta?

Many of you go to a park. Stone Mountain Park in DeKalb received 14% of the votes, and Six Flags Over Georgia/Six Flags White Water in Cobb raked in 21%.

Water was definitely a big draw for voters, whether in it or just surrounded by it.

In second place, with 21% of the votes, was Lanier Islands in Gwinnett.

And the top vote-getter for 2019 was:

What's not to love about our aquarium? It has beluga whales and sea otters, not to mention its own show on Animal Planet. It's no surprise that Gildshire magazine, a travel and nature site, recently named it one of the "Coolest Aquariums Around the World."

The Georgia Aquarium was also the winner in 2018.

The metro area has plenty of other options for those not into sea creatures, and some are even free (or almost).
