Fried, boiled, broiled or raw, seafood is a dish many people love to dive in to.

Ignore the fact that Atlanta is a landlocked city — we still get a variety of fresh seafood from the coast.

When we cast our net and baited you with the chance to pick the best seafood spot in Atlanta, you were hooked.

Finishing at No. 4 was Crawfish Shack Seafood in DeKalb. Just slightly ahead at No. 3 in the voting was Pappadeaux, with restaurants in North Fulton, Cobb and Gwinnett.

Our No. 2 finisher was The Optimist in Atlanta. And the winner of 2019’s best seafood spot in Atlanta is:

Chef Doug Turbush opened Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar in 2016. His success, Turbush says on the restaurant's website, is "beyond my wildest dreams. All this began because I was just trying to open one restaurant close to my house."

Maybe you prefer your lobster on a roll instead of dipped in butter. If so, check out these seven places to get lobster rolls you'll love.

If po'boys are more your style, you're in luck. These six spots in Atlanta will satisfy anyone's po'boy obsession.
