If you’re attending church on Easter Sunday, you’ve probably already begun to think about what you’re going to eat after the service.

Kids think about Easter eggs. Adults think about Easter brunch.

Whether you're looking for a place to brunch this Sunday or simply looking to join the BeyHive for a Beyonce-themed dance party in East Atlanta Village, you're in luck.
Here are five can't-miss events to attend this weekend in metro Atlanta:

Fernbank After Dark

When most metro Atlanta residents think of Fernbank, they think of children and dinosaurs. This event will change that.

Held once a month, “Fernbank After Dark” allows people over 21-years-old to access the museum’s exhibits, films, demonstrations and more. Unlike other museum events, which tend to cater to families, “Fernbank After Dark” will also offer live music, a full bar, a tapas menu and an opportunity to converse with adults with similar interests.

7 p.m.-11 pm. April 14. $10-$15 (members), $15-$20 (non-members). Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Road, Atlanta. Fernbankmuseum.org.

“Bey Day 3”

Ahead of the anniversary of the release of “Lemonade” (April 23), The Basement is hosting an “All Beyonce Dance Party.” The Atlanta venue is promising the event will be, well, “Flawless.”

Head to East Atlanta Village on April 15 if you’re looking to party with the Bey Hive all night long!

10 p.m. April 15. $11.49. The Basement, 1245 Glenwood Ave., Atlanta. basementat.com.

Atlanta Ballet’s “Firebird”

Atlanta Ballet presents “Firebird” this month as a part of the company’s “modern masters” program that will honor three 20th- and 21st-century choreographers. Beginning with Yuri Possokhov’s take on the Russian fairytale “Firebird,” the program will also feature George Blanchine’s homage to classical ballet, “Allegro Brillante,” and Jiří Kylián’s sensuous “Petite Mort.”

8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. April 14-16. $20-$128. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta. Atlantaballet.com.

Georgia Renaissance Festival

Jousting, balancing acts, juggling and hypnotists are just a few of the live entertainment options you will have during the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Held annually, the festival provides an opportunity for local residents and visitors to have some fun medieval-style in Fairburn.

10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day. April 15-June 4. $19-$22, adults 13 and older; $8-$10, children 6-12; children 5 and younger free. 6905 Virlyn B. Smith Road, Fairburn. www.Garenfest.com.

Easter Brunch

Grabbing brunch on Sunday will be even harder than usual this weekend.

Families and friends will likely head to local restaurants after church to continue their Easter celebration. If you’re not planning on cooking this Easter Sunday, you’ll want to make your brunch reservation ASAP.
