Big Apple commuters were treated with a free concert in the Grand Central Station subway stop Monday night.
But it wasn't the usual group of musicians normally found in the tunnels, but rather U2 who rocked the S train platform according to New York Daily News.
Some riders realized who was performing and quickly whipped out their phones to record the concert, posting to Instagram.
Even celebrities were excited to see the mega group perform.
U2 has been filming across New York City in preparation for their appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," The Associated Press reported.
