Art on the Atlanta Beltline has extended the deadline for artists to submit proposals for possible inclusion in the south’s largest temporary public art exhibition.
The original deadline was 5 p.m. on Monday, May 2. Artists will now have until May 11 to submit proposals, according to Atlanta Beltline Inc., which said Monday afternoon the decision was "due to inclement weather resulting in power outages in the Atlanta area over the weekend."
Art on the Atlanta Beltline will officially kick off on Sept. 10 with the annual Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade and run through November. For more information or to download the Request for Proposal go to art.beltline.org.
