TLC resuscitated "Trading Spaces" this year for a test run after a decade off air and it did so well, the network without hesitation is giving it more episodes next year. It helped that the network brought back all the original designers and host Paige Davis along with a few new faces.

Production returns this summer. The first season featured a couple of episodes in metro Atlanta, including one featuring Atlanta designer Vern Yip. The season finale Saturday, June 2 is set locally and will feature legacy designer Doug Wilson, new designer Kahi Lee along with carpenters Brett Tutor and Joanie Sprague.

"The response to the revival of 'Trading Spaces' from longtime devotees to newfound superfans alike, has been seismic, and we are proud to continue the celebration in 2019," said Howard Lee, President and General Manager of TLC, in a press release. "We look forward to our designers and carpenters bringing more color, design risk and most of all, fun, into homes across the country in the upcoming season."

According to TLC, it ranked No. 1 in cable during its premiere time period on Saturday nights for women 25 to 54 and women 18 to 49.

The casting page said they are seeking homeowners in the Los Angeles area, Tampa, and Charlotte but a TLC spokeswoman said location decisions have not been locked in stone.

Here is basic info:

To be a part of the show you must be neighbors. If you live across the street from each other that's good, but next-door neighbors are even better! It's also important that you have a relationship with your neighbors and that you know them well. Lastly, you've gotta be ready to have a blast with our Trading Spaces designers as they transform your home. For more details please go to  www.tradingspacescasting.com !

I left a text with Yip to see if he plans to return.
