There's a reason Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is considered the best NFL writer in the business. The guy knows/hears everything. (Full disclosure: I've never met McGinn. I just love reading his work.) He covers the Packers for the MJS, and he has written a lengthy preview of Green Bay's game with the Atlanta Falcons . It's great.

To share every nugget would be hoggish, so I'll limit myself to three and advise you to read the entire thing. Here are my three:

1. Every NFL source interviewed by McGinn -- meaning, if I'm counting accurately, four -- believes the Falcons will win Sunday.

2. The Falcons' coaches did not want to draft cornerback Jalen Collins last year but were overruled by Thomas Dimitroff and Scott Pioli.

3. Matt Ryan apparently had the same Wonderlic score (28) as rookie linebacker Deion Jones.

OK, I lied. One more McGinn-ism: Dan Quinn needs to be calling defensive signals, the way Mike Zimmer does in Minnesota. Now click and read.

(Just for fun, here's what McGinn wrote before the Falcons-Packers playoff game of January 2011 . It didn't predict that Green Bay would win 48-21 but was pretty darn prescient.)
