Semifinals: Who do you like?
The state semifinals will be played today in Columbus, with most of the regular suspects involved.
In the boys tournament, each of the four remaining teams are ranked. In the girls tournament, only one unranked team battled into the Final Four.
One boys semifinal features No. 1 Laney against No. 3 Morgan County, the defending state champion. The other game has No. 2 Jenkins against No. 7 Rutland.
The first girls semfinal has No. 2 Laney against No. 3 Decatur. The other game has No. 5 Beach against East Hall, which has been sizzling down the stretch.
