Parker Conley, the youngest head football coach in the GHSA at age 24, led Providence Christian to its first-ever region victory last week against Riverside Military. It was the second victory in the history of a program that began varsity football in 2012. Conley's grandfather was the coach at Lovett from 1963 to 1976, winning a state title in 1970, and the athletics director for 33 years. Lovett's field is named partly in his honor. Who was Parker Conley's grandfather? (Answer Wednesday)

Answer to Monday's question: The retired Ed Pilcher and St. Pius coach Paul Standard are the only coaches to beat Marist coach Alan Chadwick five times. Chadwick is 7-5 against Standard. The two will meet again Friday. Chadwick is 1-5 against Pilcher, who was coach of Thomas County Central for those six meetings.
