Autumn Newby of Archer and J.D. Notae of Newnan are the region players of the year in 8-AAAAAAA.

Newby, who has signed with Vanderbilt, averages 13 points, 13 rebounds and four assists for Archer’s girls team.

Notae, who has signed with Jacksonville University, averages 22 points. 5.6 rebounds, three assists and three steals for Newton’s boys.
