The four Class AAA regions are preparing to start their tournaments and have them completed on Tuesday.
Region 5-AAA will begin play on Friday at Cartersville. The remainder of the tournament will be played at Cartersville. The second round will be played on Saturday, with the semifinals on Monday and the finals on Tuesday.
Region 6-AAA will begin play on Saturday at St. Pius. Four first-round games for boys and four first-round games for girls will be played there since the school has two gymnasiums. The semifinals will be played Monday and the finals will be Tuesday.
Region 7-AAA will begin play on Saturday, with three games at Buford, three games at North Hall and two games at Dawson County. The semifinals and finals will be played on Monday and Tuesday at Buford.
Region 8-AAA will begin play on Saturday at three sites. There will be four games at Morgan County, two at Franklin County and two at Elbert County. The final two rounds will be played at Hart County, with the semifinals on Monday and finals on Tuesday.
